Dr Jinendra (Jimmy) Bandara is an experienced and well-regarded General Practitioner consulting at James St Medical Northbridge.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Peradeniya in 2008 and has been practising in Perth since 2014.

Dr Bandara provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals and families of all ages. He is known for his calm, thorough approach and for taking the time to listen, explain health concerns clearly, and involve patients in shared decision-making. His aim is to build long-term relationships that support ongoing health and wellbeing.

His clinical interests include General Family Medicine, Preventative Health and Chronic Disease Management, Skin Cancer Care, Men’s Health, Mental Health, and Minor Surgical Procedures. He also has experience in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and is committed to culturally respectful care.

Dr Bandara is a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) and conducts aviation medical assessments for pilots and air traffic controllers in accordance with CASA requirements.
